What is Storywood Club?
Storywood Club is a curated book swap for families. You send us gently used children’s books your child has outgrown, and we send back a new set tailored to their age, interests, and reading stage — no subscription required
How does it work?
Choose your box – Pick a 5, 10, or 15-book swap.
Tell us about your reader – Share a few details about your child’s age, favorite themes, and any preferences.
Send in your books – We provide a prepaid shipping label.
Receive your curated set – We’ll send back a fresh, personalized collection of books.
What kinds of books can I send?
We accept gently used board books, picture books, early readers, and chapter books for children ages 0–12.
Books should be:
Clean and in good condition
Free of tears, scribbles, or missing pages
No workbooks or coloring books
What kinds of books will I receive?
You’ll receive gently used (but beautifully curated) books selected based on your reader’s:
Age and reading level
Favorite topics or genres
What they’ve already read (so you don’t get duplicates)
Every box is hand-packed with love and attention — no random book dumps here.
Do I need to return the books you send me?
Nope! The books you receive are yours to keep. If your child finishes them and you’d like to do another swap, you can come back anytime.
Can I swap books for more than one child?
Yes! Just let us know in the reader info form how many kids the box is for and their ages/interests. We’ll do our best to include a thoughtful mix that works for your family.
Can I gift a Storywood Club box?
Yes! A book swap makes a wonderful gift. Just check the “This is a gift” box at checkout and include the recipient’s name, age, and a note. We’ll include a special card in their box.
How long does it take to get our new books?
Once we receive your trade-in box, we typically ship your new books within 7–10 business days. You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your box is on its way.
Is shipping included?
Yes — the cost of your box includes:
A prepaid label to send us your books
Shipping your new box back to you
No hidden fees, just bookish joy.
Is this a subscription?
Nope! Each swap is a one-time purchase. Come back anytime you’re ready for a refresh.
Can I do this more than once?
Absolutely! Many families return to swap seasonally or whenever their shelves start to feel stale. It’s a great way to keep reading exciting and age-appropriate as your child grows.
